WELCOME TO
AUTHENTIC HEART OF CRETE

Where ancient olive trees, timeless traditions and the peaceful rhythm of the Cretan countryside welcome you home.
There is a side of Crete that cannot be found in guidebooks. It lives in quiet villages, among centuries-old olive trees, in the warmth of genuine hospitality, and in traditions passed down from one generation to the next.

This is the Crete that inspired Cretan Nest.

Nestled in the authentic village of Vatolakkos, just 14 km from Chania and approximately 40 km from Chania International Airport, Cretan Nest is home to only two private adults-only suites, created for those who seek peace, privacy and a deeper connection with nature.

Two timeless Greek words. Two unique experiences.

EROS

Inspired by love. Created for forever.

Suite Eros is dedicated to love, romance and togetherness a place for honeymoons, anniversaries, marriage proposals and the promises that begin a lifetime together.

NOUS

Inspired by wisdom. Created for inner peace.

Suite Nous is inspired by the ancient Greek concept of the mind a peaceful sanctuary for clarity, inner balance and quiet reflection, where nature gently guides you back to yourself.

Good to Know

To preserve this authentic setting, please be aware that the final part of the road is a rural concrete road, uneven in places, and part of the route has no municipal street lighting.

A car is highly recommended, both for comfortable access to Cretan Nest and for exploring the surrounding villages, beaches and landscapes of Crete.

What awaits at the end of the journey is something increasingly rare: silence, nature, star-filled skies and the feeling of being somewhere genuinely untouched.
